VOS Viomik Ordering System is a software-as-a-service platform that enables restaurants to accept online orders. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, password hash, restaurant details.
• Order data: customer name, phone, delivery address, items ordered, totals.
• Payment data: handled by Stripe; we receive transaction references but not full card numbers.
• Usage data: log files, device, browser, and IP address.
• Cookies: used for authentication and basic analytics.

3. How we use information

To operate, secure, and improve the Service, process payments, deliver orders to the correct restaurant, communicate with you, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Role with restaurant customer data

When a customer places an order through a restaurant's ordering page, the restaurant is the controller of that customer's personal data and VOS acts as the processor on their behalf. The restaurant is responsible for its own privacy notices to its customers.

5. Sub-processors

• Supabase — database, authentication, file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing via Stripe Connect.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.

6. Retention

We retain account and order data for as long as your account is active and as required for tax, accounting, and legal purposes. You may request deletion subject to those obligations.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, or restriction of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, row-level security on our database, and access controls. No system is completely secure; we encourage strong, unique passwords.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email.
